NEUROARCHITECTURE CONSULTANT & LICENSED ARCHITECT

WE SHAPE OUR SPACES.
THEY SHAPE OUR BRAINS.

Bridging 10+ years of architectural design with cognitive neuroscience. I design evidence-based environments scientifically optimized for human well-being, cognitive performance, and emotional restoration.

THE GAP BETWEEN
DESIGN AND BIOLOGY.

Traditional architecture relies on intuition and aesthetics. Neuroarchitecture relies on evidence.

As a licensed architect with a Master’s in Neuroscience applied to Architecture, I bridge this gap. I do not just design beautiful spaces; I translate cognitive science and environmental psychology into built form to measurably influence stress levels, focus, and human behavior.

ACTIVE RESEARCH

PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER CURRENT STUDY

Facade Complexity & Stress Restoration

Investigating how the visual complexity of building facades impacts autonomic stress recovery in urban environments. Utilizing a virtual reality environment, we measure physiological stress indicators (autonomic nervous system activity) and cognitive restoration rates to help architects design healthier, stress-restorative city streets.

SELECTED PROJECTS

Click the cards to toggle between "The Design" and "The Science"

01

The Biophilic Residential Development

Lead Architect & Neuroarchitecture Strategist
THE DESIGN

A townhome development focused on biophilia, visual complexity, and organic materials.

01

The Biophilic Residential Development

Lead Architect & Neuroarchitecture Strategist
THE SCIENCE

Designed to optimize autonomic nervous system restoration and reduce cortisol through visual complexity, natural greenery, and a pedestrian park situated above the underground parking. The layout utilizes biophilic patterns and fractals that mimic natural systems.

02

The High-Performance Workplace

Lead Architect & Spatial Consultant
THE DESIGN

An office layout designed to facilitate both modes of human cognition: divergent thinking (collaboration) and convergent thinking (individual deep focus).

02

The High-Performance Workplace

Lead Architect & Spatial Consultant
THE SCIENCE

Tailored to human attentional capacity. We optimized materials, colors, acoustics, ceiling heights, external views, and privacy levels to minimize cognitive fatigue, promote restorative pauses, and support natural circadian rhythms.

03

The Cognitive Pedestrian Corridor

Lead Designer & Urban Research Consultant
THE DESIGN

A commercial street renovation optimizing pathways, storefront visual depth, and pedestrian seating nodes to transform public spaces.

03

The Cognitive Pedestrian Corridor

Lead Designer & Urban Research Consultant
THE SCIENCE

Aimed at increasing perceived safety and lowering stress. We expanded sidewalk areas, created social seating hubs, and leveraged thigmotaxis—designing structural borders that enhance environmental security.

03 / CORE CAPABILITIES

HOW I WORK

01

Multisensory Auditing

Auditing physical environments and analyzing them for multisensory risk and protective factors. I devise evidence-based action plans to promote desired cognitive states or behaviors and subconsciously disincentivize undesired ones.

02

Data & Applied Science

Designing and conducting cognitive research studies, utilizing biosensors, stress biomarkers, and behavioral mapping to validate design decisions.

03

Academic & Mentorship

Teaching architectural theory at Universidad Panamericana, bridging historical context with modern neuroscientific research to educate the next generation of designers.
